Erin Lucas is a pseudonym for model and actress Erin Williams. Erin is the confidante of long-time friend and The City lead character, Whitney Port.
Erin is the daughter of AC/DC bassist, Cliff Williams. A picture of her as a child next to her father hangs in a frame above her sofa. The picture can be seen in the second episode of season one, as Erin and Whitney are talking on the couch in her apartment after Whitney got back from lunch with Alex.

Erin currently resides in New York. It is believed that she graduated from NYU in 2007. However, there is a rumor that Erin didn't go to NYU at all, as she may have attended University of Miami, southern Florida, instead.
She once worked as a hostess at the Los Dados restaurant in the Meatpacking District.

Although it was never explained on the show, it is reported that Erin met Whitney three years ago through their former boyfriends, when the four shared an RV at the Coachella music festival.
